Supported under the TÜBİTAK 1501 Industrial R&D Projects Support Program and aiming to lead the digital transformation of the logistics sector, the "Route Optimization, Real-Time Tracking and Monitoring Application for Micro/Macro Distribution Operations (ROTALOG Shipment Management System)”)" project has been successfully completed.

Brought to life after 24 months of comprehensive R&D and engineering work, ROTALOG has been introduced to the sector as a next-generation decision-support system that optimizes logistics operations end to end with its route optimization, fleet management, artificial intelligence integration and sustainability-focused features.

 

ROTALOG Shipment Management System: Key Outputs and Innovative Features

Designed with advanced algorithms and a modern software architecture, ROTALOG delivered the following strategic outputs that maximize efficiency while reducing businesses' operational costs:

• Advanced Route Optimization: Fuel and time costs were minimized by achieving net savings of 20% to 30% in distribution distances and durations.

• AI-Powered Delivery Prediction: Thanks to an infrastructure supported by machine learning models, delivery times can be predicted in advance with high accuracy.

• Smart Reverse Loading Planning: Thanks to the shipment planning algorithm, vehicle fill rates were raised above 90%, preventing idle capacity.

• End-to-End Integration Capability: The system was configured to work fully integrated with web-based panels, mobile field applications, enterprise ERP software and U-ETDS (Turkey's Electronic Transport Tracking and Inspection System).

• Green Deal-Compliant Sustainability: With a deposit-based delivery tracking module fully compliant with European Green Deal standards, an environmentally friendly and traceable logistics process management was established.
